A fun and sociable challenge against the clock with roller skiers from other clubs. Suitable for everyone who has reached 1* Nordic Proficiency level in their chosen style.

There is a choice of 2 courses – the full 1.6km circuit, or the 750m loop from the bridge downwards, cutting out the hill. The aim is to ski as far as you can in an hour, so it’s a great opportunity for those with less roller ski experience to put into practice what they have learnt – and you can dip in and out of the hour as you wish.

After the race, there will be an equipment bring and buy sale – selling off/passing on surplus YDCCSC kit (snow skis, boots and poles, and some roller ski equipment too).

Registration and bibs: 12.30 – 13.30

Hill sprint challenge (entry on the day): 13.00

Briefing: 13.50

One hour Northern Roll roller ski challenge: 14.00 – 15.00

Results for hill challenge and Northern roll: 15.15 – 15.30

Equipment sale: 15.30

Cost

The entry fee for the Northern Roll is £10 adults and £5 juniors and students.

Kit Hire

Request deadline 11pm Saturday 7th June. Usual costs for club members (£5/£2.50); costs for non-members £10 adults and £5 juniors and students.
