Richard S. – Instructor

I was first introduced to cross country skiing in 1991 at La Vattay, France and bought my first roller skis a couple of years later. Sport has always been central to my life,

enjoying football, badminton, golf, cycling, running and Triathlon as well as cross-country skiing. I have no great performances to record but amongst other things have taken part in three L’Etape du Tour, cycled up Alpe d’Huez and run a few marathons.
Cross-country skiing and roller skiing are excellent forms of exercise for the whole body, whilst also challenging balance and coordination. Once you have learnt the basic technic you will be moving along freely, but if you like a challenge then refining that technique can be fascinating.
As an Instructor on roller skis and snow it is really rewarding to help people of all abilities get started and progress. Everyone is an individual so each lesson is enjoyable and different
